Now Accepting New Friends

Our Behaviour Consulting services use practical strategies to support individuals (ages 3+) and their families at home, in the community, and at our programming.

We help our Friends navigate challenges and build essential skills. No formal diagnosis is required to access our services, and we offer flexible scheduling on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.

Why Choose Behaviour Consulting?

Every Friend’s needs are unique, and some challenges require focused, individualized support beyond group programming. Our behaviour consulting services are designed to help Friends and families understand why challenges are happening and how to address them effectively at home, in the community, and across daily routines.

Our behaviour consultants support families with:

Emotional Regulation

Identifying triggers, reducing dysregulation, and building realistic self-regulation strategies that can be used in everyday situations.

Safety & Risk Awareness

Supporting understanding of boundaries, personal safety, and decision-making to reduce risk and increase independence.

Social Understanding & Relationships

Developing social awareness, peer interaction skills, and communication strategies that support meaningful, respectful relationships.

Sensory Processing & Environmental Support

Understanding how sensory input impacts behaviour and creating practical accommodations for home, school, and community settings.

Communication Support

Collaborating with Speech-Language Pathologists and other professionals to strengthen functional communication and reduce frustration.

Daily Living & Routine Skills

Addressing sleep, hygiene, transitions, and self-care through structured, achievable strategies that fit real family life.

Our approach focuses on identifying root causes, not just managing behaviour, and providing practical, sustainable solutions that support long-term success.

Flexible Funding Options

We understand that funding pathways can feel confusing, delayed, or restrictive — and that no two families’ situations are the same. That’s why we offer flexible funding options designed to reduce barriers and help Friends access the support they need in a way that works for their family.

Our services can be accessed through:

  • Family Managed Contracts

  • FSCD or PDD Funded Services

  • Private, Fee-for-Service Options

If funding is limited or you’re waiting for approval, we’re open to discussing short-term options or creative solutions so our Friend can still receive meaningful support during the transition.
